The most intriguing part of the book is that Kevin, with no Christian background, went to Liberty with an open mind to the experience, following all of the rules in the Liberty Way, joining Friday night Bible studies, meeting with a spiritual mentor, memorizing the books of the New Testament, for the sake of getting the real experience of Liberty. I was LingOL throughout the entire book. If you went to LU, or any conservative Christian college, I guarantee you will enjoy this book.

I heard an interview with the author on NPR and seems like the semester had a profound impact on his life. that although he hasn't accepted Christ, he's on a path of searching for God and learning to pray and be more compassionate. I don't know if this is another "deception"/marketing ploy to sucker in Christians into buying the book. But I ordered it on Amazon and am excited to read it.
Great book. Well worth the read. From the UK/European Evangelical Christian perspective Liberty University sounds a very right wing, fundamentalist and slightly racist establishment. Not very attractive to Christians who care about the enviroment, human rights, social justice, universal health care etc.
