Valentine 09

I didn't know what we would be doing for Valentines Day, because Brandon said he would be making the plans. He came home for lunch on Friday and told me to pack our bags for the weekend because we'd be going somewhere. I was so excited!!! I do have the most romantic and sweet husband. He's so thoughtful. We ended up driving up to his parent's lakehouse Friday night, and then got up and drove to orlando to go to DISNEY WORLD!!! I was so excited, because like Brandon always says, I'm obsessed with my childhood, and I haven't been since I was 12. Hard to believe that the age of 12 was 12 years ago now. Wow.

We woke up to a beautiful sunrise at the lake.

Brandon checking out some birds. He says he cannot wait until we have kids that he can embarrass by doing things like this.

Animal Kingdom.

So handsome. Not long after this shot, Brandon got run over by a very hefty woman on a scooter. I turned around and saw him laying in her lap with his feet pinned under the wheels. And apparently, she didn't think she did anything wrong, and kept on rolling! It was HILARIOUS. I seriously wish the camera was rolling. He's still bitter about it.

Dad, still haven't seen a gator... but this is close enough! A crocodile at Disney :)
Giraffes are amazing.
Rhinoooooo
Imitating the funky statue behind him.
Yay! Ciderella's castle!
There it is!!

Words cannot describe the gluttony that took place over this meal! Yes, that is a cinnamin bun the size of Brandon's head.

Fireworks
Saying goodbye to Disney...

It was a beautiful and wonderful first married Valentine's day. I'm just thinking about the first valentine gift Brandon gave me... 5 years ago. We weren't dating yet, but had became friends and started hanging out alot. He knew that I really liked dove chocolate and the mini breadsticks in "honey nut" chex mix... so he bought a HUGE bag of the chex mix, and dug out all of the breadsticks. He gave me the chocolates and big bag of the breadsticks along with a sweet card (that I wish I saved!!!) He definitely took alot of heat from his friends for being such a softie... but he couldn't help it... he was in love haha! Anyways, I hope you all had a fantastic Valentines Day!
