philly marathon '08

Well, I just dropped Brandon off at the Philly airport for THE LAST TIME!!! He came up for the weekend so we could get our marriage license, and take care of some other wedding things. It's hard to believe it's only 21 days away now. Being engaged has been wonderful, but we're definitely ready for the big day to get here!!! :)

On Sunday, Nina ran the Philly Marathon. She ran the entire 26.2 miles - I am so proud of her!!! We all went into the city to cheer her on, and it was FREEEEZING. We met her at mile marker 13 (half-way), which was right in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum, so after we took some action shots, we went into the museum for a few hours, and then met her back at the finish line! GOOD JOB NINA!!!! ALL YOUR HARD WORK PAID OFF AND WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!!

One Last Hoorah!

This past weekend my sister (Nina) and I ventured down to Ft Myers, FL for a wonderful bridal shower, and to see Brandon of course :). I had a blast - but as usual, it went by too quickly. The bridal shower was amazing. And, I feel so blessed to be marrying into such a great family! It is crazy to think that the next time I'm down there, we'll be married!

Sunday, we had a great day to take Nina to the beach. It was nice to get out of the rainy/cold weather in NJ and lay out on the beach :). She was such a trooper as we dragged her around all weekend, so I was glad we could get some beach time!
